Winning the Jackpot of the Night
This is Anne and she has just won a big pot of money playing at the casino. During her time there she hasn’t had much luck, today her luck has changed and she can’t be beat.
She’s decided to take matters into her own hands and beat the odds. She usually doesn’t play the big stake tables, today this has changed. She places a $100.00 bill on the number eleven and shakes the dices. Eleven comes up, she is without words as she screams and jumps up and down. People around her stop to see what is happening and they to smile and join her excitement. Anne is so thrilled she almost misses the next round.She places her next chips on the number seven and tosses the dice, wow she is on a roll.
Number seven comes up and she now has tripled her winnings. Anne and some friends have decided to spend the day at the casino.She hasn’t been for some time and thought is might be nice to play the slots and have dinner out. Anne is a very quiet individual who has lost her husband and has stayed close to home of some time.
Her friends and family have tried several times to get her out and about with no success.So today is a big day and she hopes she’s not sorry for taking the jump. She’s always felt somewhat alone even when others were around her. Today she’s about to have a little fun and enjoy others company and maybe even have a glass of wine.As they arrive it seems the casino is very busy today, many buses surroud the many building of the casino. They group together and walk around for a time before finding a place to sit and play the slots.
Anne has found a machine of 7’s , she settles in to play and hopefully win. Her friends are scattered all around her each one hoping to win. They play the slot for about and hour and a half and everyone decideds to walk around a bit. During that time they watch many of the larger bettors win and some lose. Anne starts to thnk this may be fun, but doesn’t play right away. The group has some lunch, a glass of wine and some small talk as the laugh and watch the many people among the crowd.
As lunch ends Anne thinks maybe she’ll take a chance at the tables. She picks one out, stands to watch for awhile. She has no idea what is going on but it sure looks like fun. Finally she take a hundred dollar out of her billfold and is given chips. She holds them for a time, thinks to herself what the heck do I do with these. A little laugh comes out as she places them all on one number. Everyone al the table looks at her, she’s not sure why and is given the dice.
She shakes them , and throws them out, they tumble and stop at eleven. She really not sure what that means and than everyone looks at her and smiles. The eleven has won, she is the big winner. Anne is beside herself, what does she do now. She given the dice again and she places her chips, again she wins. Anne number repeatedly win and win.
She has herself a very large amount of money, should she stop while she’s ahead or continue, or play. Anne decides to play for awhile longer, the thing she doesn’t understand is just how do you bet and how is it decided when you win.
She just doesn’t know, doesn’t seem to matter much because Anne is winning and continues to win through the whole night.Anne has never had so much fun and money in her whole life. As the group prepare to get ready to leave Anne takes a few coins from her winnings and drops them into a slot machine close to the door.
Three coins go in she pull the lever and the machine goes off ringing, bells go off and Anne just stands there with her friends and is speechless with wonder. Anne has won the jackpot of the night, her friends can’t believe her luck, just the thing the bring her out of the slumps.
